Jouman Dennaoui

Principal Speech Pathologist

Jouman Dennaoui is a warm, knowledgeable, and dedicated speech pathologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney.

  • Jouman has a strong clinical focus on stuttering, with additional training in the Lidcombe Program, Camperdown Program, and School-Aged Stuttering interventions. Her broader skillset includes:

    • Sensory processing

    • Voice Craft

    • AAC and LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning)

    • Mindfulness and assertive communication

  • She has worked alongside Professor Mark Onslow, contributing to the Lidcombe Program’s online training materials. Jouman has participated in research on aphasia therapy and the experiences of young people who stutter, and has delivered professional education through the South Western Sydney Stuttering Unit.

  • Jouman’s early work spans community, school, and hospital settings, supporting a wide range of communication needs. She has also supervised student speech pathologists, mentoring the next generation of clinicians.

  • With a client and family-centred approach, Jouman empowers families and facilitates parent support groups to foster connection and shared understanding. She provides services in both English and Arabic, tailoring therapy with empathy, trust, and evidence-based care.

Dr Omar Alsayed

General Practitioner | MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Omar Alsayed is an experienced and compassionate GP committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. At Speech Mark, he works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support both physical and emotional wellbeing.

  • Dr Alsayed has special interests in:

    • Paediatrics

    • Skin and dermatological conditions

    • Antenatal care
      He also has extensive experience in managing chronic conditions, supporting weight loss, and practicing lifestyle medicine with a focus on long-term, sustainable health outcomes.

  • He provides care for WorkCover and CTP (compulsory third party) claims, understanding the value of collaborative, integrated support in injury recovery and rehabilitation.

  • Dr Alsayed prioritises patient education and preventive health. His approachable manner and clear communication help patients feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in their healthcare.

  • Outside of work, Dr Alsayed enjoys soccer, natural bodybuilding, hiking, and reading.

DANIA Dennaoui

Senior Physiotherapist

Dania is a compassionate and highly experienced physiotherapist with over 15 years of clinical practice across hospitals, private practices, and multidisciplinary clinics. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney and is fluent in both English and Arabic, allowing her to provide culturally responsive, client-centred care.

  • Dania works with both paediatric and adult clients and is currently part of the team at A2Z Medical Centre. She provides physiotherapy services under private, Medicare, workers compensation, CTP, and NDIS schemes. Her clinical interests include:

    • Musculoskeletal physiotherapy

    • Orthopaedic rehabilitation

    • Neurodevelopmental support

  • Committed to lifelong learning, Dania has completed further training in:

    • Upper and lower limb plastering

    • Manual handling and taping techniques

    • Multicultural awareness

    • Myers-Briggs professional development

    She also has hands-on experience in prosthetic fitting and training, including AFOs and back braces.

  • Dania actively works alongside speech pathologists and other allied health professionals to deliver holistic, integrated care. She is known for her clear communication, team spirit, and leadership within clinical settings.

  • With a calm and empathetic approach, Dania is passionate about delivering evidence-based, individualised therapy. She has also led initiatives to support physiotherapy assistants and improve patient resources and outcomes.

ISRA RAFEI

Primary Educator | Special interest in literacy

Isra Rafei is a passionate and reflective educator with a Master of Teaching (Primary) from Western Sydney University. She is committed to building strong literacy foundations through inclusive, evidence-based instruction.

  • Isra is trained in Sounds-Write, a systematic phonics program grounded in the Science of Reading. Her literacy teaching is explicit, responsive, and tailored especially for students with language and literacy difficulties.

  • At Speech Mark, Isra delivers curriculum-based literacy interventions and collaborates closely with speech pathologists and allied health professionals to support students with communication challenges. Her work ensures cohesive, team-based support between educators and clinicians.

  • Isra brings warmth, empathy, and professionalism to every classroom. She builds strong relationships with students and families and contributes to individualised learning plans, case reviews, and classroom adaptations to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Driven by curiosity and a love of learning, Isra is especially interested in oral language development, phonological awareness, early intervention, and inclusive practices.

ASMAA ALCHEIKH

Secondary Educator | Literacy & History Specialist

Asmaa Alcheikh is a passionate secondary educator with a Master of Teaching (Secondary) from Western Sydney University, specialising in Literacy and History. She is dedicated to helping students build confidence and motivation as they develop foundational literacy skills.

  • With a strong focus on student engagement, Asmaa brings experience in curriculum design, classroom management, and differentiated instruction. She creates inclusive, supportive learning environments that foster both academic growth and personal development.

  • At Speech Mark, Asmaa provides curriculum-based literacy support using evidence-informed, compassionate teaching strategies. Her approach centres on building trust and connection with students to promote lifelong learning and self-belief.

  • Asmaa works closely with speech pathologists and allied health professionals to support students with communication challenges, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to learning.

Aqdas Habib

Certified Practising Senior Speech Pathologist

Aqdas is a passionate and empathetic speech pathologist with over 10 years of experience supporting children and their families. She brings a family-centred, neurodiversity-affirming approach to her work and has a strong interest in early intervention, especially with neurodiverse children.

  • Fluent in both English and Urdu, Aqdas values the power of connecting with families in their home language. Her culturally sensitive approach helps create inclusive, meaningful therapy experiences that resonate with each family’s values and background.

  • Aqdas believes in building strong, collaborative relationships with parents, educators, and allied health professionals to support each child’s unique journey. As a parent herself, she offers not just clinical expertise but lived empathy and practical insight into the everyday realities of raising children.

  • Committed to lifelong learning, Aqdas has completed training in:

Natalie Leung

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Natalie is a dedicated and down-to-earth speech therapist who loves helping children find their voice and communicate with confidence. She provides culturally responsive support to children and families from diverse backgrounds and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney.

  • Natalie has a strong interest in supporting children with speech sound disorders, language delays, literacy, and social communication difficulties. She is passionate about empowering children to reach their full potential and express themselves clearly in everyday life. Natalie also enjoys working with multilingual children and families, fostering language development that values each child’s home language and cultural background.

  • Natalie has worked with children, teens, young adults, and adults across clinic, preschool, school, home, and community settings. She has experience supporting individuals with complex communication needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities. Natalie has completed additional training in Gestalt Language Processing and Key Word Sign.

  • Natalie embraces a child and family-centred approach, collaborating closely with families, educators, and other professionals to support communication across different environments. Her sessions are evidence-based and tailored to each individual’s needs, interests, and goals.

Susan ALZAIM

MULTIDISCIPLINARY DESIGNER AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
